Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you (the "Customer", "you") and air router ("we", "us"). You accept them when you create an account, generate an API key, or send any request to our API.

If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service — the air router API, routing layer, dashboard and related tooling.

Credits — prepaid balance held on your account and consumed as you make requests.

API Key — a secret credential issued to you that authenticates requests to the Service.

Customer Content — prompts, files, data and other inputs you send to the Service.

Output — the content returned by a model in response to Customer Content.

You must provide accurate account details and keep them current. One account per person or legal entity unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your API Keys, including usage and charges. Keys are shown once at creation and stored hashed — keep them secret, rotate them if exposed, and revoke them from the dashboard immediately if you suspect compromise.

Subject to these Terms and your account remaining in good standing, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the Service and its dashboard for your internal business or personal purposes, and to integrate the API into your own applications.

You may not:

• resell, sublicense or white-label raw access to the Service as a substantially similar routing or inference reselling product;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code, routing logic, model selection, or pricing internals of the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-extract catalogue, pricing or dashboard data other than through documented API endpoints;
• circumvent or interfere with rate limits, credit accounting, billing, or access controls, or share keys to pool usage across unrelated parties;
• use the Service to build a directly competing routing or aggregation service, or to benchmark it for publication without our written consent;
• remove or obscure any proprietary notices, or misrepresent the Service as your own infrastructure to end users in a way that is deceptive.

This licence terminates automatically when your account is closed, suspended for breach, or when these Terms end.

The Service is prepaid. You buy Credits, and each request debits Credits based on the tokens used and the price shown in the catalogue at the time of the request. Prices are quoted in US dollars.

Payment processing fees and any applicable VAT or sales tax are shown at checkout before you pay. You are responsible for providing a valid tax identifier where one applies to you.

If you enable auto top-up, you authorise us to charge your saved payment method for the amount you configured whenever your balance falls below your chosen trigger, until you disable it.

Credits are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and do not expire unless we state otherwise. Unused Credits are forfeited if your account is terminated for breach of these Terms.

You must not use the Service to generate, request or distribute:

• anything illegal in your jurisdiction or ours;
• child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors;
• malware, exploits, phishing, or content designed to defraud;
• harassment, targeted abuse, incitement to violence, or content promoting self-harm;
• spam, mass unsolicited messaging, or coordinated inauthentic activity;
• personal data you have no lawful basis to process, or special-category data without appropriate safeguards.

You must not attempt to overload, probe, penetration-test or disrupt the Service or its upstream providers. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations of this section, without refund.

You retain all rights you hold in Customer Content. You grant us only the licence needed to transmit, process and route it in order to provide the Service, and to keep operational metadata such as token counts, latency and cost.

Output is generated by machine learning models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable for your purpose. Similar Output may be produced for other customers. You are responsible for reviewing Output before you rely on it, publish it, or act on it — particularly in legal, medical, financial or safety-critical contexts.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit Customer Content and to use Output as you intend.

Where you send a request to an automatic route, we select a model that in our judgement fits the job you described at the best value. The specific model may change at any time as capability, availability and pricing change. If you require a fixed model, specify it explicitly in your request.

Standard accounts are provided without an uptime commitment or service level agreement. We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the Service, and will give reasonable notice where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on.

The Service, including its software, routing logic, dashboard, documentation, name, logo and branding, is and remains our property or that of our licensors. These Terms grant no rights other than the licence in section 4. Feedback you send us may be used freely and without obligation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or uninterrupted operation.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, however caused.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the total amount of Credits you spent in the three (3) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, damages, liabilities, costs and reasonable legal fees arising from your Customer Content, your use of Output, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal or security risk, if payment fails or is charged back, or if required by an upstream provider or by law.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including licence restrictions, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and governing law — continue to apply after termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material we will notify you by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
